Cell@home DM1000C is the CDMA based world first dual mode cordless telephone. Dual mode includes conventional landline service and cellular service all in one unit. It can operate up to 4 multiple handsets to the base and all combination of calls on those handsets as well as the base corded phone and speakerphone is possible. You can actually conference cellular call on the unit with landline call and have 3 parties or more simultaneous conversation. Also, the increased RX sensitivity will make the unit more reliable in terms of signal reception within home and office structural environment. You can also send and receive SMS text messages on your base unit as well as any of the cordless telephone handsets linked to the base unit.
